When buying parts it is always advisable to include the year of your machine. You can find the serial number of your machne on the bottom side of your machine near the rotary hook assembly. It is located on the flat surface and can be seen without taking the large black bottom plate off. The serial number starts with two letters and has 6 digits that follow. The Letters will tell you the year range of your machine. To Find the year your machine was made compare your serial number to the first two letters on the under side of your machine with out removing the bottom plate. Number is near tipup plate.
